Part of my job as an editorial assistant is to attend photo shoots and help out. When I was assisting my officemate, Pat, steam a silky dress, we both wished for an easier way to steam clothes. At first we wished for a cold clothing steamer, then Pat said that she wished she could just edit out the creases in Photoshop. With this remark, we came up with a new Photoshop action—auto-steam.
If this nonexistent action is invented, stylist won’t have to steam clothes during shoots anymore. All they have to do is dump the wrinkly dress on the mannequin, let the photographer take a photo, edit it in Photoshop using auto-steam, and voila all the creases will be gone!
