I was on my way home standing in the aisle of an aircon bus with other tired and sweaty passengers. The bus driver kept picking up more people even if the bus was already crowded. Many got irritated, and they started shouting things like, Ano ba yan manong or Wag masyadong gahaman. The best comment was: Kulang nalang tomato sauce at sardinas na tayo!

[1] Ano ba yan manong= Mr. what the hell are you doing?
[2] Wag masyadong gahaman=Don’t be too greedy
[3] Kulang nalang tomato sauce at sardinas na= We only need tomato sauce, and we’ll be like a can of sardines.
