This is a list of things I love, topics that interest me, activities I loke doing etc. (In no particular order)
1.) Notebooks.
I love buying pretty ones, but I don’t use them for a long time because I feel hinayang to fill it with my ugly handwriting scrawls. So lots of unused notebooks pile up.
2.) Debate.
I have been a debater from high school up to college. I learned so much through debate, not just about logic and analysis, but about people, power, bravery, and hope.
3.) Movies
I am a very visual person. I used to like watching movies more than reading books, but now I love them both. I love watching romantic comedies. Most of my favorite movies are those that made me laugh and also cry.
4.) PJAM
I’ve been friends with Precious, Johanna, Anna, Marian, and Milagros (Trina) ever since we were eleven years old. We are six different people, but when we are together, even though this is cheesy, there’s no other way to put it, it’s like magic.
5.) Music
I love listening to songs. I like songs with great lyrics. I like pop although there are some rock, and jazz songs that I like.
6.) Singing
When I was younger, I wanted to be a singer. Up to now I still love going to karaoke.
7.) Art
I can’t draw, but I doodle. I love looking at art. I love Salvador Dali, Vincent van Gogh, and Andy Warhol.
8.) Fashion
I love Project Runway. I love Zusto, divisoria 1-6-8, Freeway, and SM department store. I love buying old magazines on sale just to look at the clothes. My favorite magazine is Preview.
9.) Japanese food especially sushi!
When my mom was pregnant, she made her neighbor cook Japanese food for her. She always took to me Japanese restaurants when I was a kid, and up to now we love eating Japanese food.
10.) Facebook.
I actually love facebook. I learn so many things because of facebook. I read a lot of articles through facebook. I get to connect with friends that I don’t see a lot.
11.) My blogs
I love this blog the best, but I also love my other blogs. When I was in high school, I had a couple of friends who were blogging, but I never understood why it was fun. I tried like myspace and stuff, but I was always so conscious and insecure that I wasn’t able to really write in those blogs. Now I’m letting it all hang out, and I think writing regularly will help me become a great writer.
12.) Writing
I am an artist, and my art comes in words that turn into images, people, places, events, lives, hearts, and courage.
13.) Philippines
I love pandesal. I love drinking buko juice from the buko itself. I love taho. I love Manila. I love the vendors on the street. I love the tropical weather. I love that Christmas starts in September and ends in March. I love that I can see my aunts, uncles, and cousins on most Sundays and on every holiday.
14.) Batangas
The best panaderya is in Batangas. I love laundres, bonete, and pianono. The best pinipig, bilo-bilo, and cocoa are in Batangas. I love the different kinds of mango trees that are planted around our house there.
15.) Culture
I love learning about culture and society. I want to know more about my Filipino culture.
16.) Photography
I love facehunter, which is a site by Yvan Rodic. He started taking pictures of fashionable people he met on the streets, then he put those pictures in a blog, and now he has published books on street fashion, and he is constantly invited to posh fashion shows. I love photo effects. I love tinkering with pictures. I use several websites like picnik, big huge labs, and scrapblog. I am starting to learn photoshop.
17.) Freedom
That’s why I’m an artist.
18.) Apple
I love Steve Jobs. I listen to his commencement speech at Stanford University whenever I need inspiration. I want to have an iPhone, an iPod, and an iPad.
19.) Musicals/ Theater
When I was a kid, my mom and I used to watch musicals and plays. I love watching film adaptation of popular musicals and plays. I saw Miss Saigon when it came to Manila. Our seats were so bad that I couldn’t see the faces of the actors anymore. Still, it was so great, I cried at the end.
20.) Ballet
My family is full of dancers. I am not good at memorizing the steps for modern dance, but I did take ballet lessons when I was a kid. My mom and I used to watch ballet when I was a kid.

I love Ellen de Generes, and John Stewart. I love reading articles in cracked.com.
I love Filipino humor. I love the Erap jokes, the grammar jokes, the pick up lines, etc. Filipino humor is something special. Everyone who doesn’t know how to speak Filipino is missing out on a lot of great comedy.
23.) Internet
Information is important for artists. I have learned so much because of the internet.
24.) Asian food
Because of debate, I got to travel to several countries. Most of them were Asian countries. I was able to go to Malaysia and Thailand several times. I love Malaysian curry and roti. I love Tom Yam, Khanom Buang, and Pad Thai .
25.) My diary
I have been writing in my diary ever since I was eleven. To know more about my diary read this.
26.) The Secret
Reading The Secret changed my life. When I was younger, I had a happy life, for some sort of reason I was always sad. Now I feel like I’m a happier and more secure person.
27.) My friends
I love PJAM, my friends from Miriam, my friends in debate, my writer friends, my friends from Ateneo, and all my other friends.
28.) My family
Growing up with tons of cousins and great aunts and uncles filled my life with so much joy. I have a great mother. She has logical demands, gives me the freedom to make my own decisions, and loves me very much. I have a great grandma. She is the kindest woman on earth.
29.) Inspirational stories
I love the story about how Einstein was too dumb to learn, and how Thomas Edison made 100,000 mistakes before he got the light bulb right.

My mom and I walk around the village and we talk about random stuff. Walking is a full body exercise, but it’s not strenuous. I have gotten thin because of walking everyday and doing crunches. Walking also lifts my mood. It has helped me get through some of the darkest periods of my life.

I like watching tv shows on the internet. I don’t watch shows on the tv itself.
34.) Ballpens
I love Star Pentel, Pilot, Faber Castel, and Faster ballpens.
35.) Political and social issues
I love reading the Economist, and reading stuff on Newser.
36.) Feminism
My mom is a feminist. She never talked to me about feminist issues, but somehow, I grew up to become one.
37.) Happiness
I want to be happy and I want to make other people happy. I write entertaining and comedic pieces. I love reading The Secret, and The Happiness Project by Gretchen Rubin. I like collecting quotes on positive thinking.
38.) Religion
I am fascinated about religion even though I am not religious.

My favorites are X factor, American Idol, Dancing with the Stars, and Project Runway. I don’t like reality tv shows about random people being crazy.

Everytime I have a dream, I write it in my diary, and I copy the meaning of the dream from my Dream Interpretations book.

I used to matterload a lot when I was a debater. Now I still like reading The Economist, and reading up on debatable issues.
