Have you ever been haunted by a math exam? I have.
There was this one exam where I wasn’t sure if one of my solutions were correct. That night I had a dream that I was taking my math exam again.
In my dream, I was so happy because I solved the problem correctly.
When I woke up, I realized that I got it wrong in my actual exam.
I was like, Thanks panaginip, thanks lang talaga.
[1] Panaginip means dream
[2] Lang= according to the Tagalog Dictionary, this means “part. only, just, representing little value, shortened form of lamang.”
[3] Talaga=according to the Tagalog Dictionary, this means “truly, really, honestly”
[4] Thanks panaginip, thanks lang talaga has a tone of sarcasm. It’s like saying,”Thank you, dream, thank you very much.”
