I don’t care if the book is tattered. I don’t care if the pages have sprung from its spine. All I care about is it’s a book and I can read it.
I love books, but I don’t have a lot of money. I usually end up buying books from second hand bookstores. They’re great, but of course I miss out on books that had just hit the market.
Wouldn’t it be great if there’s a company that reproduced books for cheap? As in use cheap-ass paper, a plain cover, nothing fancy-schmancy.
Not having all that glam wouldn’t matter as everything creative will still be there in letter-based ink. Everything brilliant will still be there, deep within the written word.
