Wishing for Formal Rubber Shoes

My feet know cement, cobbled stones, gravel, bricks, dirt roads, and lubak. I don’t really mind them except that sometimes my feet complain in bright red blisters.

For some, the solution is simple. Just wear rubber shoes. They’re great for walking. Problem is, I go to a lot of formal events, so these shoes would not be appropriate.

What about formal rubber shoes?

My favorite shoe store, Shubizz, added heels to rubber shoes, but I hate heels. So is there a way that we could turn rubber shoes into something that is elegant enough to use for formal parties? Is there some way that we could keep the comfort but excise the casual feel and replace it with grace and style?

Clothing stores often brag about pieces that can transition from day to night. Can there also be shoes that can transition from walking in the morning to socializing in the evening?

I want that. I need that. Somebody out there, please, please, make these shoes!
