All the Songs I’ve Written 3: Rays of the Black Roses

Note: This is a song I wrote when I was in grade school

I.
We are the fire of the night,
The shining girls of the daylight,
The she firing roses of the dark,
And the mysterious rose of the light,
Fire is our friend and night is our love,
Rays of the black roses.

Chorus:
And baby, baby, baby the fire roses are here,
So watch out, yes watch out,
For the fearsome shes,
And baby, baby, baby, don’t be scared
No, no,
Be terrified.

II.
We are the terrors of the black sky,
The shining girls of the morning sun,
Fire is our friend and night is our love,
Rays of the black roses.

(Chorus)

Rays of the black roses,
Rays of the black roses,
Rays of the black roses.
