All the Songs I’ve Written 4: So If You’re Looking for a Friend I’d Like to Apply

Note: I wrote this when I was in grade school. The title was from a sticker that I bought.

I.
You’re not my friend,
And neither my enemy,
We’re not that close,
But we’re not fighting either,
I know you’re lonely,
And I am too,
So if you’re looking for a friend,
I’d like to apply

II.
We’re in the same school
We’re in the same classroom,
You don’t talk to me,
And I don’t talk to you,
But I know you’re lonely,
And I am too,
So if you’re looking for a friend,
I’d like to apply

II.
From the day I met you,
I already admired you,
I think you’re the best,
From the rest,
Some say I am a fool,
For thinking you are cool,
But you’re smart and nice,
Like your pretty little eyes,
And I know you’re lonely,
And I am too,
So if you’re looking for a friend,
I’d like to apply
