Book Reading Technique for Book Sluts

Are you a book slut? I am. You know what our problem is, right? Being a book slut means that we can’t read one book at a time. I go from reading one book to the next. This used to be a big problem because I ended up not being able to finish any book, and when I returned to a book I half read, it had been such a long time since I read it that I already forgot what it was about, so I had to read it again. Good thing I finally found a solution to this problem and that is creating a book pile.

So there’s a portion in my bookshelf where I put a pile of books that I am reading. Usually there are around 5 books in that pile. I still go from reading one book to the next, but I am limited to those five books, so I am able to still remember where I left off when I return to a book. Once I finish a book, I can put in a new one in the pile. This has been effective because ever since I started this, I have read around 25 books a year. Try it!
