I don’t know what to do about you,
And what new lesson I’m about to learn,
I don’t want to learn because
I’ll only learn if I succumb,
A smart person can do better than this,
But right now I am weaker than I am wise.
The lesson is a train,
My feet are magnet to the tracks,
And my flesh is up for an unstoppable collision,
And it’s sad that I know
That I’m about to get hurt
Yet I stay here,
And it’s sad that I know
That I’m not the one
Who can hit the breaks,
And it’s sad that I know
That the thrill will leave me broken,
And it’s sad that I know
That you’re the one
Who’ll come out of this unscathed.
